Formula Master will partner the Hungarian and Belgium Grand Prix in 2009, keeping the planned calendar of two rounds with FIA Formula 1 World Championship, in addition to six rounds partnering the FIA World Touring Car Championship.
Following the exclusion of the Canadian Grand Prix from the Formula 1 season, the Formula Master calendar is now made up of the following:

JD Motorsport´s Chris van der Drift claimed his sixth win of the season today in the final round of the 2008 Formula Master season in Monza.

JD Motorsport’s Chris van der Drift won the 2008 Formula Master title today in Monza, although it was Jenzer Motorsport’s Fabio Leimer that claimed the victory in the Series’ round 15.
